This page will be updated with new questions and answers up until just after noon ET, so refresh often to see if your question was answered. The most recent answers will appear first.Sometimes, rankings and columns just arent enough to help you decide which player should go in your lineup. If youre still not sure about that final spot before Sundays games kick off, send us a question on Twitter using the hashtag #startsitESPN, and you just might get yours answered below. Each week, ESPN Fantasy analysts KC Joyner and Jim McCormick will provide advice for players just like you stuck with tough choices to make. For Week 7, many of your concerns revolve around the Buffalo backfield and Bengals TE spot. Will the limited fantasy superstars (LeSean McCoy and Tyler Eifert) prove to be worth a start, or do your bench options offer a higher floor or more upside?Lets get started on answering your fantasy football questions for Week 7.Gillislee or Marqise Lee in a ppr? #StartSitESPN- Jamesis (@TheJamesis) October 23, 2016Buffalos run blocking has been superb the past few weeks, and it has led to the team ranking second in the league in my good blocking yards per attempt (GBYPA) metric that measures how productive ball carriers are when given quality run blocking. Since LeSean McCoy is likely to be on a snap count, Mike Gillislee should get the bulk of the Bills carries in a highly favorable matchup vs. Miami. That gives him much more upside than Lee and makes Gillislee the selection. -- KC@ESPNFantasy #StartSitESPN T. Coleman or Matt Jones?- Oscar I (@oscarivan81) October 23, 2016Tevin Colemans 5.3 GBYPA is just over half of Devonta Freemans 10.4 GBYPA. Thats why Coleman has been losing carries to Freeman and will likely continue to do so. Jones has a matchup against a Detroit defense that has been very weak vs. the pass and therefore should give Jones plenty of scoring chance. Jones is the pick. -- KCShady with limited reps or Blount @ Pitt. #StartSitESPN- Lance Fenske (@MrKillerlf) October 23, 2016Pittsburghs rushing defense wont look as bad as last week, but thats the second time in four weeks the Steelers gave up 100 or more rushing yards to their opponents running backs. This week will likely make it three of those instances in five weeks, so start Blount. -- KC#StartSitESPN Carr or Wentz?- beatle (@BeatleEV) October 23, 2016Carson Wentz is going up against a Minnesota defense that is allowing an incredibly low 4.7 Total QBR when it sends a blitz and the other quarterback is able to throw a vertical pass (a throw traveling 11 or more yards downfield) against it. Derek Carr faces a Jaguars defense that gave up 302 passing yards to Brian Hoyer last week. The suggestion would be to start Carr. -- KC#StartSitESPN Standard League - Bills D or Texans D?- nhuie (@nhuie) October 23, 2016Miami did play a lot better last week, but Im chalking a lot of that up to the Steelers tendency to play down to their competitions talent level. The Bills wont do that versus their division rival and are rushing the passer extremely well, with three or more sacks in five of their six games. Add in Miamis pass-blocking woes (17 sacks allowed, tied for fourth most in the league) and Buffalo is the pick. -- KCMariota or Luck? #StartSitESPN- Douglas Frey (@FSAmansfield) October 23, 2016Andrew Luck has thrown only seven touchdown passes over the past five weeks, due in part to an injured pass-catching corps. Those injuries are showing up again this week, as the Colts will be missing two of their top wide receivers and one of their top tight ends, and T.Y. Hilton is also battling an injury. Marcus Mariota is getting points on the ground as well as in the air (18 fantasy points on rushing plays over the past two weeks), so he is the selection. -- KCDelanie Walker or Hunter Henry? Standard, PPR #StartSitESPN #fantasyfootball- Brian Henigin (@bHen) October 23, 2016Talk about a toss-up. I have those two rated even in every category, including strength of matchup. Since Hunter Henry has a much better game last week versus a tough Denver defense, he might be considered to be the player on more of an upswing, so that could be a tiebreaker to use in this very difficult choice. -- KC#StartSitESPN Which 2 are the safe choices? Jacquizz T.Y. & Mike Evans- The Maximum Beats (@themaximumbeats) October 23, 2016T.Y. Hilton is battling a hip injury that kept him limited in practice Wednesday. Mike Evans and Jacquizz Rodgers are both healthy. Using that and Hiltons recent production woes as a barometer (he scored only four points last week), Evans and Rodgers would be the safest picks. -- KCBlake Bortles or Kirk Cousins? #StartSitESPN- Better than U (@310jayare) October 23, 2016Blake Bortles is facing an Oakland pass defense that has struggled a lot this year, but it should be noted that the Raiders have single-digit points to the opponents quarterback in two of the past four weeks. Kirk Cousins goes up against a Detroit defense that just allowed Case Keenum to throw for 321 yards and three touchdowns and tie a team record for consecutive completions (14). Cousins is the pick due to the more favorable matchup. -- KC#StartSitESPN C. Michael, or G. Bernard for Rb2.- amanjeet sandhu (@asandhu_89) October 23, 2016Giovani Bernard got his chance to be the Bengals go-to back last due to Jeremy Hills chest injury. It netted him only eight fantasy points on 15 carries in part because of Bernards inability to cash in on goal-line carries. Hill is fully healthy this week and should get the goal-line carries again, so Bernard likely missed his window. Christine Michael is Seattles bell cow and thus would be the pick. -- KC#StartSitESPN Larry Fitzgerald or Terrell Prior?- Chase Petersen (@ninerbud) October 23, 2016Terrelle Pryor has been battling a hamstring injury and thus is an injury question mark. Larry Fitzgerald does have a tough matchup against Seattle, but with Jaron Brown and John Brown both battling ailments and Kam Chancellor (the Seahawks starting strong safety) out for this game, Fitzgerald should be even more of a go-to wideout than usual. That makes Fitzgerald the pick in this matchup. -- KCIs zach zenner worth playing as flex in standard. Is T Pryor a decoy today? #StartSitESPN- Adam pagano (@Adampagano4) October 23, 2016I think Zach Zenner has a quietly nice setup today, as Washington has allowed the most yards per attempt to running backs this season and he has nearly sole claim to early-down touches for Detroit. Were still waiting for clarity on Terrelle Pryors situation, but Id side with him over Zenner if hes active, simply based on his ability to gain chunk yardage versus Zenners more volume-driven profile. That said, Zenner isnt a bad sleeper to consider today. -- J.M.@ESPNFantasy #StartSitESPN Lesean McCoy, Gillislee, or Jordan Matthews 1pt ppr at flex- Bad Hombre M Caceres (@biggynotsmall) October 23, 2016Lets go with Jordan Matthews here. Hes the top target in Philly and aims for his fifth straight home game with a touchdown and has 100 yards in three of the past four games in South Philly. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN Terrance west or Jerick McKinnon? standard scoring rb2, thanks!- Shawn Irvin (@theswirvinirvin) October 23, 2016Terrance West has consolidated snaps and touches in Baltimore and emerged as a feature back. The Jets have been solid against the run, but sheer volume drives a higher floor for West. -- J.M.PPR league. Start Luck or Dalton? #StartSitESPN- Kyle Jordan (@KyleJordan75) October 23, 2016As tough as it can prove to sit top talents and high draft picks, Id rather play Andy Dalton than Andrew Luck today. Luck has been sacked and pressured more than any other quarterback and the Titans are fourth in the league in blitz rate, while Dalton faces a Browns defense allowing a touchdown on 7.5 percent of opposing attempts, highest in the AFC. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN LeSean McCoy or Legarrette Blount- MVP (@P_Philosophy) October 23, 2016With a reasonable alternative in place in LeGarrette Blount, lets avoid McCoy where possible. -- J.M.@ESPNFantasy deandre Hopkins, Travis Benjamin or willie Snead? I can only play one. #StartSitESPN- Andre Kaivon Mohseni (@kaivandre) October 23, 2016With Michael Thomas seeing more snaps lately than Willie Snead and Travis Benjamin dealing with an injury, its even easier to side with the superlative talent in Hopkins. The matchup for Nuk isnt pretty, but he ranks above this tier of options. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN PPR scoring, need to choose a flex between lamar miller, marvin jones jr, or Pierre Garcon?- matt mckinnon (@Ironmanonacid72) October 23, 2016The Denver Broncos havent been so tough against the run as to avoid Miller, so his awesome usage floor merits trust over these alternatives. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN Kirk Cousins or Marcus Mariota?- Marco Pleasant (@MarcoPleasant) October 23, 2016With designed runs on the rise and a favorable home setup against a soft defense, Ill take Mariota in this case. -- J.M.@ESPNFantasy Snead or Boldin? 0.5 PPR #StartSitESPN- Joe Ruff (@Joe_Ruff) October 23, 2016Lets go with Snead in this case, as the Chiefs have allowed a generous fantasy allowance to receivers and we still value Sneads share of the Saints offense, even as the rookie Thomas ascends. -- J.M.@ESPNFantasy Cooks or J . Charles #StartSitESPN- Juan Cantu (@j_cantu2021) October 23, 2016Charles appears compromised still with lingering knee swelling, so Brandin Cooks is an awesome alternative and superior fantasy asset today. -- J.M.@ESPNFantasy #StartSitESPN Should i start Jeremy Maclin or Demaryius Thomas- Anthony (@basketplayer24) October 23, 2016Jeremy Maclin has a touchdown reception in three of his past four and enters must-start status against a Saints defense that has allowed 211.2 yards per game to receivers, most in the league. -- J.M.Landry or DThomas ppr #StartSitESPN- Fermin Sanchez (@fermtz70) October 23, 2016Jarvis Landry leads the league in target share of his offense and delivers a higher floor, especially as Denver QBs have the lowest QBR and Denver has the lowest points per drive rate over the past two games. -- J.M.@ESPNFantasy #StartSitESPN Gio or McKinnon? B Marshall or Marvin Jones? 1 ppr- BC (@Brentc1629) October 23, 2016Giovani Bernard has a nice yardage floor today against a soft front, so hes safer in regards to floor, while Jerick McKinnon likely as the higher ceiling. In PPR, its clearly Gio for me. At receiver, Brandon Marshall could feast on the Ravens secondary, especially any matchups with Shareece Wright. Marshall enjoyed a 40-percent target share from Geno Smith last season. -- J.M.Joe Flacco or Sam Bradford? #StartSitESPN- Greg Zimmermann (@gregzimmermann) October 23, 2016I prefer Joe Flacco here. Even as hes been banged up, Flaccos upside in vertical passing and depth of target is higher than Sam Bradfords conservative usage pattern. It also helps that the Jets have allowed the most yards per attempt this season. -- J.M.Antonio brown or Marvin jones? Ppr league #StartSitESPN- Terri Prescott (@MedMindDoc) October 23, 2016With Josh Norman set to shadow Jones and Antonio Brown proving productive in a small sample with Jones last season, lets stick with the high-floor Steelers superstar. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN Tyler Eifert or Doug Baldwin in the flex?- Robert Evans (@RobertE7077) October 23, 2016Lets get Doug Baldwin in the lineup, as his target share of an efficient Russell Wilson offense still vaults him ahead of a possibly limited role for Eifert. -- J.M.With McCoy starting but limited, should I roll with Gillislee or look for another FA? Limited options on the wire. #NFLfantasy #StartSitESPN- Gh0st ? (@graf_gh0st) October 23, 2016Look elsewhere, possibly Detroits Zenner, who could quietly be in line for 15 or more touches. -- J.M.Pryor or edelman in ppr league #StartSitESPN- Jake Friedman (@JTfriedman45) October 23, 2016Julian Edelman is due for a positive correction, as hes hauled in just over half of his targets so far but enjoyed a 71 percent catch rate working with Tom Brady last season. The Steelers have allowed the most yards per game to receivers since the start of last season, as well. -- J.M.@ESPNFantasy Isaiah Crowell or Michael Crabtree at my flex? #StartSitESPN- Drew Klostermann (@_DrewK3) October 23, 2016Michael Crabtree could enjoy matchups with Davon House and the Jags susceptible safeties today, earning him the nod over Isaiah Crowells lower yardage floor. The Browns rushing game has stalled lately, especially as game script while trailing isnt favorable, with Cleveland as the biggest underdogs of the slate. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN S Ware or J Rodgers at the flex?- Eric Reid (@EReid5) October 23, 2016Good options, but riding with Spencer Ware here as hes in line for a strong batch of touches and has simply proven more prolific in fantasy terms than Jacquizz Rodgers. -- J.M.@ESPNFantasy barnidge or eifert #StartSitESPN- Allan Randall (@randallja22) October 23, 2016After a quiet start to the season, Gary Barnidge has averaged 64.5 yards and over six targets since Week 3. This is a pace for 80 catches and just over 1,000 yards, so hes a fine option while you can simply let Eifert earn his way back into your lineup in the coming weeks. -- J.M.Jamison Cowder or Mohamed Sanu? #FFNow @ESPNFantasy @MatthewBerryTMR #StartSitESPN- Austin Clark (@Austin_S_Clark) October 23, 2016Going with Jamison Crowder here, as his market share is healthy with Jordan Reed sidelined and the Lions are allowing the second-most points per drive this season. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN Davonte Freeman or Melvin Gordon? And Marvin Jones or Brandin Cooks at flex?- Justin Girardot (@JustinGirardot2) October 23, 2016Melvin Gordon gets the nod since he has a high majority of touches and no real competition for meaningful work. It also helps to consider the Falcons have allowed the most receiving yards per game to backs, helping support a higher yardage floor for Gordon. Going with Cooks at flex there. -- J.M.Hunter Henry or Antonio Gates? TE, standard. #StartSitESPN- Sam Lahmon (@LahmonSam) October 23, 2016The Chargers leading receiver since Week 3 has been rookie tight end Hunter Henry (290 yards) and he has a strong red zone rapport as well. Antonio Gates simply hasnt looked good on tape yet and is compromised in terms of target share. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN Pick up Zenner and start him over Yeldon or Ryan Mathews? Thanks!- Casey Lewis (@caseyplewis) October 23, 2016I dig double-Z, but not over these two options. Zenner is ideal for those facing the Buffalo dilemma or stuck in another unfavorable situation, like choosing between the San Francisco backs. -- J.M.Jeremy Kerley or Rishard Matthews? Flex, standard #StartSitESPN #FantasyFootball #fantasy- Amanda Lee (@briches13) October 23, 2016Lets go with Jeremy Kerley. The Titans investment in Rishard Matthews hasnt led to heavy usage (just 14.8 percent of Tennessees target share). Matthews has been targeted downfield often (average depth of target of 12 yards downfield), but there simply isnt enough attention to merit deployment. This is also about Kerley, who has been a consistent target for the 49ers offense, even if the results havent been steady. With seven targets last week (tied for team lead), there is a higher usage floor for him than Matthews. -- J.M.McCoy or Gillislee #StartSitESPN- Matt (@skeptic1013) October 23, 2016There is a great deal of mystery here with the Bills backfield. Reports from the beat suggest McCoy looked significantly limited on Friday in a walk-through practice. This said, if we are to follow the information from Adam Schefter below, it appears McCoy could have a sizable snap share if he meets this play threshold. Id seek to avoid this backfield in whole if possible, but would play Gillislee because hes not facing inherent physical limitations and has flashed big-play ability this season. Well know more as time trickles in, but its a messy scenario that could see both backs compromised in terms of fantasy production. -- J.M.Bills RB LeSean McCoy, listed as questionable with hamstring, is expected to play today but could be on 25-35 play pitch count, per source.- Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) October 23, 2016#StartSitESPN start a limited Eifert or Fleener in PPR?- Jacob Mann (@jacobmann84) October 23, 2016Another snap-count conundrum, ESPNs Katherine Terrell shared about Tyler Eifert: Snaps will be limited. Start in fantasy at your own risk. Thats from an incredibly informed source, so Id look to leverage that information into lineups and get Coby Fleener in there. The Saints offense has struggled on the road over the past year, but Fleener has a valuable red zone role and wont come off the field much. -- J.M.Duke Johnson or sproles #StartSitESPN- Joe A (@AngeliniJoe) October 23, 2016Duke Johnson claims more volume in regards to touches and game script could prove pass-happy for Cleveland, so lets go with the second-year receiving back. -- J.M.Should I start Blount or Yeldon in PPR? #StartSitESPN- Billy alexander (@Billyal28077447) October 23, 2016The Jaguars backfield has been so difficult to predict in terms of usage pattern. Last week, T.J. Yeldon was hyped by the staff as the feature back only to see Chris Ivory net more carries. There is more clarity in Blounts role, as hes the early-down workhorse and even with James White consuming more snaps the past two weeks, the bruising Blount has nine red-zone carries over this stretch. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN Jamaal Charles or Tevin Coleman? NONPPR- Chris S (@pak3chris) October 23, 2016Reports are also conflicting on Jamaal Charles, but several bankable sources suggest hell play today despite suffering from some swelling in his knee. That said, his snap count peaked at 15 last week and he doesnt claim enough of a touch rate to merit trusting over Tevin Coleman, who leads all backs in receiving yards and leads the NFL in receiving yards after contact. Colemans floor and ceiling are higher with Charles still on the mend. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN jaquizz Rodgers or CMIKE?- Chris Smith |SMITTY| (@Saafety) October 23, 2016This one is tough, because?Jacquizz Rodgers for the Bucs is due to a great volume of touches in a soft setup against the 49ers, but Im going with Christine Michael of Seattle since his offense is simply stronger and his share of work is comparably impressive. The Seahawks have five rushing scores the past three games and have scored at least 26 in three straight, while the Bucs are 31st in points per drive (1.38) and one of the weakest offenses in football. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN in flex half ppr Asiata or LaFell?- Mike Hamann (@RavenCoho) October 23, 2016Lets side with Matt Asiata, as he has a strong share of the Vikings backfield lately, as the team trends run-heavy and his goal-line role is valuable. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN Drew Brees or David Carr?- NRP (@NRPSportsCards) October 23, 2016The Raiders are historically terrible on the East Coast. Not that this means we should fade Derek Carr, but just that road woes are a real concern for both Oakland and New Orleans. The Saints have scored 68 percent more points per drive at home since the start of last season, but the Chiefs have the lowest pressure rate on opposing passers this season, while Jacksonville has been solid of late in this regard. All this said, Id side with Brees knowing the inherent risks of both road setups. -- J.M.#StartSitESPN gilislee or quizz?- JD (@Mr_Dixon_MKE) October 23, 2016We understandably have a good deal of Buffalo backfield questions floating around Twitter today, but lets avoid that scenario when possible. Rodgers is due what we can assume would be over 20 touches against a 49ers defense allowing 18 percent more rushing yards than any other team. -- J.M.James White, Eifert, or Britt in the flex?! #StartSitESPN- Diarra Cropper (@HulkBaby30) October 23, 2016James White is my call; hes led the Pats backfield in snaps and scrimmage yards the past two games as a clear complement to Tom Bradys scheme. -- J.M.@ESPNFantasy #StartSitESPN .... Pryor or Ajayi? PPR- Katie Woolf (@kwoolf42) October 23, 2016With Terrelle Pryor banged up, lets go with Jay Ajayi, especially as James Walker of NFL Nation reports hes the unquestioned lead back for the Dolphins. -- J.M.Is it worth the risk playing frank gore this week? #StartSitESPN @MatthewBerryTMR @ESPNFantasy- Joey Gonzalez (@djjoeyg3) October 23, 2016With 432 yards from scrimmage and five rushing scores in four meetings with the Titans, Frank Gore is once again a fine RB2 asset. -- J.M.@ESPNFantasy #StartSitESPN Vernon Davis or jimmy graham? Standard scoring- pJ (@PdotJdot11) October 23, 2016I dig Vernon Davis running 35 routes on Kirk Cousins 35 dropbacks last week, a nice sign of usage, but Jimmy Graham has at least six receptions and 100 yards in three straight and is in the must-start tier at the position again. -- J.M.Melvin Gordon / Spencer Ware #StartSitESPN- 5-1 (@SkipBaeless) October 23, 2016Good problem to have -- lets go with Spencer Ware, who has 358 yards from scrimmage and two scores in his past three home games and was brilliant outside the tackles last week. -- J.M.Tyler Eifert or Martellus Bennett #StartSitESPN- Jarrod Hildebrandt (@Jrodhildebrandt) October 23, 2016Each week we see a few names emerge as popular dilemmas, this week its the Buffalo backfield and Tyler Eifert. With Eifert, Id avoid him, as ESPNs Terrell suggests, given the inherent risks of limited exposure. Playing Martellus Bennett affords you a nice combo of floor and ceiling in fantasy while allowing Eifert to safely show you what he can do from the bench. -- J.M. Louisville quarterback Lamar Jacksons three-interception performance -- in a second straight upset loss -- made a bettor holding a potential $10,000 ticket on the Heisman Trophy favorite nervous enough to put what seems like a genuine lock up for sale.On Sunday, a $100 ticket on Jackson to win the Heisman Trophy was posted on Nevada sports betting market site PropSwap, a service that allows customers to buy and sell live tickets. The $100 bet on Jackson was placed at the Westgate SuperBook when he was a 100-1 long shot before the season. The current asking price is $9,000.Per Nevada Gaming Control regulations, the states sportsbooks halted betting on the winner of the Heisman Trophy on Nov. 20. Jackson closed as a massive 1-50 favorite at the SuperBook, but that was before the Cardinals lost straight-up to Kentucky as 28-pooint favorites.dddddddddddd. Point spread-wise, its the second-biggest upset of the season to this point, behind only South Alabamas win over Mississippi State as a 28.5-point underdog. The current owner of the $10,000 Jackson ticket bought it from the original bettor for $4,000 in the middle of the season. He became concerned about not only Jacksons performance against Kentucky, but also didnt like that his perceived closest competition -- Washington quarterback Jake Browning and Clemson quarterback?Deshaun Watson?-- will each be playing in championship games this week, while Jackson wont be.Watson closed at 20-1, with Browning at 30-1.The winner of the Heisman Trophy will be announced Dec. 10.
