John Chick is open to returning to the CFL, and his first choice would be the team he played for from 2007-09, the Saskatchewan Roughriders. The defensive end and former Most Outstanding Defensive Player (2009) spent the past three seasons in the NFL with the Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars. Now a free agent, Chicks agent said the 30-year-old is open to a return north of the border. While Scott did say how much Chick enjoyed playing in Saskatchewan and that his client wanted to give the Roughriders the first shot at signing him, other teams in the CFL have also expressed interest. The Hamilton Spectator reports that Tiger-Cats head coach Kent Austin said the team would probably have interest in Chick, but that it hasnt been fully discussed as of yet.
